Thursday, January 25th, 9:00 AM-tentative end time - ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) test in the library for 10th - 12th grades. This is an untimed test we use for career planning. It can also be used for those thinking technical careers as it has a tech component, can be used for ACT practice and used for the military - but we do not release scores to the military. Tuesdays, February 6th, 13th, and 20th, 6:30 PM-8:30 PM - University of Iowa is hosting a Mini Medical School to teach all the ways researchers at Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Iowa are targeting and keeping pace with personalized medicine. $20 per person course fee covers all 3 weeks of tuition, materials, parking, and refreshments.
