EXPLORER'S POSTS
** SOME OF THE EXPLORER'S POSTS ARE ON HOLD FOR THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR **
Career Exploring Posts are opportunities for young men and women, ages 14 (and who have completed the 8th grade) - 20 years old to explore specific career areas. At their 21st birthday, participants "age-out", hopefully to go on to other career and college experiences. Local community organizations initiate an Explorer post by matching their people and program resources to the interests of young people in the community.
Exploring programs are based on five areas of emphasis: career opportunities, life skills, citizenship, character education, and leadership experience. A key component to Exploring is the hands-on aspect. Within each Post students will receive hands-on experiences.
Explorers has a Facebook page, click HERE for the link. For more information about any of the Explorer's Posts listed please contact Morgan Kuhlman
